I started my career in music back in the 70’s.  My father, a musician himself, taught me to play and got me interested in the 40’s Big Band music.  Then, as a teenager, I played with The Buster Long Orchestra, a twenty piece dance band.  High school bands were then started including a very successful rock band called Potter’s Symbol.  We were the only local band with a horn section doing Chicago and Sly.    Branching out in college, I started playing more parties, anniversaries and weddings.  At that time, I enjoyed playing with a four piece group called Front Page.  In the 80’s, I joined the Ambassadors Orchestras and then Stolen Moments Orchestras doing the wedding scene.  I’ve always enjoyed listening to rhythm and blues with such groups as Tower of Power and Edgar Winter’s White Trash.  I finally got the opportunity to play blues music when I joined Third Stone.   It has been a great musical experience.
